Pro-noun music gender data base [Draft]

Curated dataset from MusicData UPC >>> with 6K files. Created by Make Music Equal.---< a Chartmetric squad. Chartmetric (a music industry professional business tool) maintains a pronoun & gender dataset that covers hundreds of thousands of music artists and bands all around the world, that are of interest to global music industry professionals. You can find and edit yours, if you’d like.

These trackers are near real-time, connecting to Chartmetric database, which show the amount of artists that use pronouns in their artist biographies, that through a series of data cleaning and processing, allow us to infer whether an act is solo or with multiple members, and infer self-identifying gender. The goal is to allow other companies and institutions in the music business, academia and otherwise, to study the current topic of gender inequity and take action to work towards equal voice to all. You can download it for free under Creative Commons license.
